What started as a bit of fun creating unofficial matchday graphics in Photoshop, quickly turned into real design opportunities at one of the biggest clubs in the world

After sharing some of my matchday visuals with colleagues at the Manchester United Megastore, I was asked to produce official internal designs. These included the “Store Assistant of the Month” graphics and Megastore Feedback digital displays, shown regularly on screens in staff areas. These designs aimed to boost morale, recognise hard work, and encourage positive customer engagement, all while aligning with the club’s wider brand identity.

This initial project opened more creative doors. Shortly after, Diogo Dalot followed me on LinkedIn and I began creating occasional matchday promo graphics for his Instagram Stories. A proud moment and a clear step forward in combining fan passion with professional output.

These experiences further what McHugh Media stands for: seizing opportunities, turning personal creativity into real-world impact and delivering polished visual work that engages and inspires. Whether it’s behind the scenes or in front of millions.
